Can I take American Express (AMEX) on my PDQ terminal?

This depends whether you're an existing AMEX customer:

I'm already an AMEX customer
If you already have an agreement with AMEX then you'll have been issued with an AMEX merchant number. Just call us on 0844 811 6666* this number, and an advisor will talk you through a quick download to activate this on your PDQ. Please have your bank details to hand, as we'll need to complete a security check to make the change to your account.

I'm not an AMEX customer
Firstly, contact AMEX on 01273 675 533* to get an AMEX merchant number, then give us a call on 0844 811 6666*. Make sure you've got your bank details to hand, as we'll need to complete a security check to make the change to your account.

If your terminal isn't rented from Barclaycard then you'll need to contact your own software provider with your AMEX merchant number.
