Why does the issuer or the cardholder require a copy of the transaction details?

There are a variety of reasons for requesting the details of the transaction. For example, cardholders may not recognise the transaction or the name of the company may be unfamiliar.
Alternatively, there may be something wrong with the account or fraudulent use is suspected.
