Who are SecurityMetrics and how can they help me with my PCI DSS validation?
Barclaycard has partnered with SecurityMetrics, a US based company, who are accredited Qualified Security Assessors (QSA) and Accredited Scan Vendors (ASV), to help level 4 merchants to validate their compliance.
SecurityMetrics will give free advice to help the merchant select the appropriate Self Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) for their business and can help the merchant decide if scans are needed. SecurityMetrics can be contacted on 0844 561 1662* (lines are open from 9am to midnight Mon-Fri) or +44 (0) 207 993 8030 from outside of the UK.
SecurityMetrics also provide a service where the SAQ can be completed online and merchants have unlimited access to technical support by telephone and email. If the merchant choose to enrol for this service they will incur an annual charge of £11.99 (if vulnerability scans are not required). Merchants can also take advantage of the preferential terms Barclaycard has negotiated with SecurityMetrics for any network scans that maybe required.
If the merchant does not enrol with SecurityMetrics for their online service we still require the merchant to send their validation of compliance to SecurityMetrics.
