My debit card online payment in account services has failed - will I be charged a late payment fee?

When you make a payment online you will be advised straight away if your payment has been successful. If your payment is declined we recommend that you check the details you entered and try again. If it is declined again we suggest you use a different method to clear your minimum payment before it becomes due:

• By phone using a debit card by calling customer services on 0844 811 9111 or by using your own bank's telephone banking - tell your bank our sort code 20-04-15, our account number 38290008 and your card number.

• By post with a cheque made payable to Barclays Bank Plc. Write your name and account number on the payee line and again on the back of the cheque along with your postcode. Send your cheque to Dept PP, Bolton, BL11 1XZ.
