How do I import my downloaded files from account services?
To import into Microsoft Excel: Open Excel.
- File/Open/...select your file.
- An Import Wizard should now pop up. Step one, select 'delimited' text file, starting at the first row and file origin is Windows (ANSI).
- Second step in the wizard is to tell Excel what separates the columns. Tick the Comma box.
- Final step in the wizard is to tell Excel what is in each column (column 1 is a date, column 2, 3 and 4 are text and column 5 is a general number). Select each column in turn and set its type, then click finish.
- The file is now imported. You may need to alter the widths of the columns to see all of the data.
