Is this just a UK activity? What is Barclaycard / Barclays doing in other countries?
In the US, Barclaycard is working with AT&T, T-Mobile USA and Verizon Wireless on a joint venture which will provide contactless mobile payments to consumers nationwide.
We are looking to build a strong mobile presence in these markets and will be considering opportunities for similar ventures in other territories in due course.
