How is Barclaycard Identity Protection Alert different from Barclaycard Card Protection Insurance?
Card Protection covers your existing credit and debit cards from fraudulent use if lost or stolen. Identity Protection covers you against identity theft. This is when someone uses your name for financial gain e.g. applying for new credit cards, taking out a loan in your name or committing a criminal offence.
