How long does the benefit last for accident and sickness cover?
You can choose the maximum time that you'd like to be covered if you claim - either 12 or 24 months. If you make a successful claim, the benefit time you chose is the maximum amount of time that you'll receive benefits for accident and sickness.
Your benefits will last until the end of the maximum benefit time limit, or you go back to work, or you no longer have a doctor's certificate saying you're still ill.
